Basically, apps that are released for the Oculus Store can be made by screencasting the glasses with the Companion App.

WLAN Screencasting of the Oculus GO with Windows 10

Apps that have a beta status can also be cast with our small Screnncaster. This is currently still in the test phase, errors may occur.

This is needed:

  1. Win 10 PC
  2. Oculus GO in developer mode!
  3. Micro USB cable for the connection between PC and glasses

That’s how it works:

  1. Google Drive download
  2. Unpack
  3. Make sure the Oculus Go and the PC are in the same WLAN
  4. Start application
  5. Press the “Start Process” button
  6. Follow the instructions
  7. Allow USB debugging the first time in your glasses
  8. a console opens, and then a second window with the name Pacific, here the image of the Oculus GO is displayed after a short time
